Rajkot , Yesterday on 22nd July, three BAMS students of Anandparan Gardi College reached Nyari Dam. There were no important lectures in college, the three friends dropped out and moved to Nyeri Dam from college. While returning from Nyari Dam, an unidentified man with a bouquet pointed a gun at the girl’s forehead and robbed her mobile phone. Later, he threatened the other two youths with ‘jo uch hai woh de varna goli maar dunga’ and robbed their mobile phones. Bukanidhari robbed the girl’s phone and fled. A complaint has been lodged in the police station in this matter and the police is probing the allegation.
The complainant Riddhi told about the incident that she is a resident of Jilaria village and studies in Rajkot. She goes to college by bus. At around 8:30 on Friday morning, his classmates Asha Nitinbhai Chauhan and Deepali Manasibhai Nandaniya were together in the same college studying in the same class. There are no lectures of special importance in the college, the three friends decided to go to Nyari Dam instead of going to class.
The three college friends got on the rickshaw and got down near GIDC. From there she reached Nyari Dam by another rickshaw. In this way, all three reached Nyari Dam at around 10 o’clock. After studying there for some time and having breakfast, he left again at around 1.30 pm to catch the bus for college.
When the three friends were returning, a boy of about 25 to 30 years old came on the road while coming down from Nyari Dam. A white handkerchief was tied over his face. He was also walking with her and while friends were sorting the leaves by standing near the tree, the man placed a black shiny weapon on my forehead and took the Vivo Y-50 mobile phone from him. Later the accused said in Hindi, ‘Give me whatever money you have in your wallet, or you will shoot me’, when the sisters got scared, took away Deepali’s Realme 7 mobile phone and Asha’s Redmi mobile phone.
In this case of robbery, the police have registered a case on the complaint of Riddhi Dineshbhai Sojitra, resident of Jilaria village of the incumbent and started the search for the unknown accused.
