Tilharia Agricultural University Guidance for oilseed farmers: Rajkot
Rajkot , DT. 18 July – In relation to planting oilseeds when different crops are produced according to different plantations farmers Agricultural University, Targhadia has provided guidance details on considerations for oilseed production.
Under which the farmers producing groundnut should make proper arrangements for rainwater drainage. Spraying of Ammonium Sulphate and Muscat of Potash at the rate of 30 kg per hectare should be done in the soil affected by yellowing problem of groundnut. Apart from this, sprinkle the mixture by pouring 150 grams of Hiraxy and 15 grams of lemon flowers in a pump. Leaf spot disease is usually spread during peanut planting. Then for their prevention, it will be necessary to mix Tebuconazole 18.3 in 10 ml of water.
Apart from this, application of Urea, Ammonium Sulphate and Murate of Potash @ 30 kg/ha increases the chances of disease outbreak in cotton after 30-40 days of rain. Water logging due to prolonged rains also leads to fungal diseases. For its prevention, spraying the mixture of Mancozeb 27 grams and Lita 10 grams in water, removes the fungus.
